   Get Out follows Chris, a young Black man who travels with his white girlfriend Rose to meet her family in a remote countryside estate. Although they seem welcoming at first, Chris soon notices that something feels deeply off—especially with the Black housekeeper and groundskeeper, who behave strangely. As he investigates further, Chris uncovers a horrifying secret: Rose’s family is involved in a sinister plot to transplant the consciousness of wealthy white people into the bodies of Black individuals, essentially erasing their identities. With sharp social commentary on racism, privilege, and cultural appropriation, Get Out is more than a horror film—it’s a psychological thriller that holds up a mirror to society.
