Hellboy is a
half-demon superhero who was summoned from Hell to Earth as a child by Nazi
occultists but was rescued and raised by Professor Bruttenholm of the Bureau
for Paranormal Research and Defense (B.P.R.D). Working to protect humanity from
supernatural threats, Hellboy struggles between his demonic origins and his
desire to do good. As dark forces rise, he must face his destiny and decide
whether to bring about the apocalypse—or prevent it.
