Insidious follows the terrifying story of the Lambert family, who move into a new home and begin experiencing disturbing supernatural events.Their son, Dalton, suddenly falls into an unexplained coma—but the truth is even more chilling: his consciousness has astrally projected into a dark spirit realm known as "The Further", leaving his physical body vulnerable to possession by evil spirits.

    As the hauntings intensify, the family turns to a gifted medium named Elise Rainier and her paranormal team to help bring Dalton’s spirit back before a malicious demon can take over his body permanently.
