The Conjuring 2 is set in 1977 and follows the infamous Enfield
Poltergeist case in the suburbs of London, England. The story centers on the
Hodgson family, particularly young Janet, who begins exhibiting strange behavior
and becomes the target of violent supernatural occurrences—like furniture
moving, ghostly voices, and mysterious banging. As the situation worsens, Ed
and Lorraine Warren are called in to investigate. They soon discover that the
haunting is not just the work of a restless spirit, but a powerful demonic
entity named Valak, which manifests in the terrifying form of The Nun. The
Warrens must battle the demon to save Janet's soul and prevent evil from
spreading further—putting their lives and faith to the ultimate test.
