    The Conjuring tells the terrifying true story of the Perron family, who move into an old farmhouse in Rhode Island, only to experience a series of disturbing paranormal events—such as strange noises, moving objects, and ghostly apparitions. As the hauntings intensify, they seek help from Ed and Lorraine Warren, renowned paranormal investigators. The Warrens discover that the house is cursed by the spirit of a witch named Bathsheba, who once lived on the land and sacrificed her own child to Satan, vowing to haunt and destroy anyone who lived there. This case becomes one of the most horrifying and dangerous investigations the Warrens have ever faced.
