Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds is a
South Korean fantasy action drama based on a popular webtoon.
The story follows Kim Ja- hong, a brave firefighter who dies while
saving a child. After his death, he is escorted to the afterlife by three
guardians—Gang-rim, Haewonmak, and Deok- choon —who guide souls through the
trials of the underworld.Ja-Hong must undergo seven trials, each representing a
different sin such as deceit, betrayal, or violence. If he proves his innocence
in each trial, he will be granted reincarnation.
As the trials progress, secrets from Ja - Hong’s past emerge, and the
guardians themselves begin to confront their own histories—revealing that their
fates may be more connected than they thought.
