The chilling story
takes place during the summer of 1989, centered on a
father and son who run the run-down Mt. Vista Motel, isolated deep in the
western mountains of the United States. With almost no guests ever stopping by,
the quiet, desolate atmosphere — combined with years of neglect — begins to
awaken something dark within the young boy.
When a mysterious
traveler arrives to stay at the motel, his presence fuels and shapes the boy’s
growing darkness, slowly steering him away from innocence and morality — and
into the depths of something far more sinister.
