      After a mother and her two daughters move into a house inherited from a relative, they are violently attacked by intruders on their first night. Years later, Beth, the elder daughter who has become a successful horror novelist, returns to the house to visit her mother and sister. However, she begins to question her memories and soon realizes that something terrifying may still be haunting the house—and that the nightmare might never have ended.
