“Pai Hae” in Thai means going through life with joy—doing what you want, thinking freely, and putting happiness first: your own happiness, others’ happiness, and the happiness of everyone around you. When you work, do it with heart. When problems arise, think of them as God’s tests. When sadness comes, measure it against happiness. When stress weighs you down, tell yourself, “Never mind—what’s life anyway? Sooner or later, we all die.” You never really know whether tonight, after you fall asleep, you’ll wake up again, so if there’s something you haven’t done yet, a dream you haven’t continued, go do it. Don’t cling to anger or hatred, don’t make anyone sad. Live every day to the fullest—so that, in the end, you can truly “pai hae.”
